In DEADLY REVISIONS, Oberst, Jr. plays Grafton Torn—an amnesiac horror film writer for whom hypnotherapy and nightmares reveal terrifying images that just can’t be real. Or can they? It’s a twist-filled psychological thriller as well as a loving valentine to the horror genre with winks to horror greats, including Hitchcock, DePalma, Carpenter and others. Some of it was even filmed at the same location used for “Friday the 13th, Part 4”.
“I just wanted to make a fun, old-fashioned film,” Blair says. “The kind of movie you can curl up with at night and slowly get lost in, not hit over the head with. And I always liked mysteries, so I let the story take its time, setting up the pieces of Grafton’s patchwork memories and then letting them slowly twist into nightmares that keep revising. And people have responded to that, so I guess I’m not alone."
DEADLY REVISIONS, a PIX/SEE Productions film, will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, Comcast Cable TV, VOD, iTunes, Amazon Prime, Google Play and More. For more information:
