Warrington Gillette At XVI Retro Sunset Happy Hour
(Warrington Gillette, Keith Collins & Joe Nathan)
Retro Sunset happy hour at NYC hotspot XVI Rooftop is New York's summer ‘it’ spot. The retro event, catering to the entertainment industry, providing an oasis where guests can mingle & sip on cocktails while watching the sunset over the Manhattan skyline is often co-hosted by celebrity guests. This week brought on Warrington Gillette “Jason” from Friday The 13th Part II along with co-hosts celebrity photographer /Legendary Studio 54 DJ Steve Mack and Indie film star Keith Collins. Other guests seen mingling at the private soiree included Brandon Ruckdashel (“Co-ed Confidential”), MLB All-Star Texas Ranger Joe Nathan, Village People Keyboardist Richard Trifan, Fashion guru Nicolette Csaszar & the legendary Carmen D'Alessio.
Making the rounds with his new project “BLOODY SOCIAL” NIGHTMARE IN PALM BEACH, FLO. – SEX-MURDER-MONEY-DRUGS- “ Blood Is Thicker Than Money”
Actor/Producer/ Entrepreneur, F.Warrington Gillette has created this Hamlet like Hitchcockian nightmare, in pursuit of justice, loosely based on the sudden and mysterious death of his own father in Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday the 13th. As an actor he already rampaged Camp Crystal Lake in an unstoppable fury before, as “ Jason Voorhees,” in Friday the 13th II, seeking revenge over the death of his “Mommy”, so why not “Daddy” as well in a Palm Beach nightmare?
This epic takes place in Palm Beach, a city of unlimited sex, money, polo, drugs and death. A pristinely beautiful barrier island-the costliest four miles of real estate in the world! Populated entirely by the idle rich, where the only job is keeping up appearances and the governing rules are those of etiquette, snobbery, and bigotry. A place where Jews and Blacks are not allowed in the clubs, but the blackest hearts thrive and where the white sandy beaches and blue water of the Atlantic are about to run blood red.
This multi-dimensional film, delivering a strong message with redeeming social value ,is a modern extension of heroic tragedy loosely based on a contemporary true story. Audiences will identify with the theme of greed gone wrong, political corruption in high society and its deadly consequences. They will cheer for their new sympathetic vigilanti seeking revenge over the wrobful death of his father. It is believed his heiress step-mother, “ The Black-Widow”, poisoned him and headed to the Cote de Azur to marry her new latin lover to pursue a new love and to protect her vast fortune. Society of course looked the other way but the conspirators of the crime would soon regret it…….che che che.
The film project has already garnered significant national media exposure and brand publicity, from coverage in national magazines, newspapers, internet blogs and a Disney book, while in development due to the unique controversial nature of the story and its affiliation with a true Palm Beach scandal.
The island for the super rich will soon become BLOODY SOCIAL.

Former NY Yankee Billy Sample & New Film "Reunion 108" at NYC's XVI Rooftop Lounge
(Billy Sample, Kim Cameron)
Catering to the entertainment industry, Retro Sunset happy hour at NYC hotspot XVI is providing the oasis where guests can mingle, sip on cocktails all while watching the sunset over the Manhattan skyline. The retro event is often co-hosted by celebrity guests. This week brought on Former New York Yankee Billy Sample along with co-hosts celebrity photographer/Legendary Studio 54 DJ Steve Mack and Indie Film Star Keith Collins.
Also in the crowd was Top 40 Billboard Recording Artist Kim Cameron, Warrington Gillette (Jason from Friday The 13th) and Village People Cop Ray Simpson. Billy Sample was selected as Most Versatile of his graduating high school class and playing in the major leagues didn't temper his versatility. Completing articles for publication, something he did while still an active player, became a centerpiece for expression after his baseball career, which covered three teams (Rangers, Yankees, Braves) in nine seasons,1978-86. He had articles published in Sports Illustrated and the New York Times, as well as becoming one of the inaugural columnists at Baseball (Sports) Weekly. In 2011, he enhanced his portfolio by penning his first screenplay "Reunion 108", with structural help from his producer/writer son, Ian. The screenplay took top honors at the Hoboken Film Festival and two years later he is ready to join the ranks of Ron Shelton and Jim Bouton as former professional baseball players who have become filmmakers. Reunion 108 is an edgy, satirical, comedy emanating from the gathering of two different generations of minor league baseball players returning for a reunion game. What happens before the game takes us to places movie audiences and even most ardent baseball fans have never seen; that much is guaranteed. In a few weeks, we'll see you at the theaters for a glimpse of our National Pastime, 'Sample Style' ...
