So Long Katie Couric

According to the Associated Press, CBS Evening News anchorwoman Katie Couric has given her notice. She plans to launch her own evening program in 2012. Less than five years ago Katie Couric left NBC’s Today show for the nightly news position and has never received the ratings CBS expected. Officially Couric’s contract with CBS runs out June 4th and only time will tell what her next move will be.
