Olive Penderghast falls victim to her embarrassing virginity and lies to her best friend creating the fantasy of sleeping with a college freshman. Soon word spreads around campus and she becomes the schools slut quicker then she can deal with the other students attention. She quickly makes a career out of prostituting the rumor of sleeping with other male students, not the best message to send to youngsters. The quirky Emma Stone takes a leap forward in her film career as a believable Emma. Amanda Bynes on the other hand, continues her unfortunate Nickelodeon-style comedy as the school’s straight laced Marianne. Like any other teen comedy, ‘Easy A’ teaches a lesson that could be misinterpreted by today’s young people, tell the truth about your sex life.
